Auf zum Shopping in Tokio! Ja, zwar war am Donnerstag Feiertag, den ich aber zum Schlaf nachholen genutzt habe und das z\u00e4hlt nicht \ud83d\ude42<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die ersten Eindr\u00fccke von Japan (wobei sich das nur auf Tokio bezieht) sind vielf\u00e4ltig und ausschlie\u00dflich positiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shopping-Tokio ist vergleichbar mit London<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Die japanische Hauptstadt hat in der Tat ein wenig was von London, denn einige Geb\u00e4ude sind in edwardischem Stil gehalten &#8211; steinerne Au\u00dfenfassaden mit herausgemei\u00dfelten, horizontalen Linien mit ein wenig franz\u00f6sischem Einschlag, aber l\u00e4ngst nicht so verschn\u00f6rkelt. Dabei darf ab und an der Uhrenturm nicht fehlen, dessen Zifferblatt hier allerdings stilgerecht ein \u201eSeiko\u201c-Logo statt einer europ\u00e4ischen Marke ziert. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft dann wieder hochmoderne, vermutlich von Star-Architekten designte Hochh\u00e4user mit futuristischen Fassaden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><b>Shopping Areas in Tokio:&nbsp;<\/b>Ich bin heute sozusagen an der Oxford Street Tokios gelandet. F\u00fcr uns Hamburger w\u00e4ren es Jungfernstieg und Neuer Wall. Auch wenn Omotesando, die High Street schlechthin, mit vielen gro\u00dfen Marken f\u00fcr den gro\u00dfen Geldbeutel aufwarten kann, gibt es doch gef\u00fchlt eine noch viel gr\u00f6\u00dfere Ansammlung von Luxusmarken pro Quadratmeter in Ginza, um die gleichnamige U-Bahn-Station herum.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Praktischerweise wohne ich heute noch in Laufweite und wandle geschlagene 8,4 Kilometer lang durch die f\u00fcr den Verkehr gesperrte Ginza Street und vielf\u00e4ltige Shops. Das Wetter l\u00e4dt ausnahmsweise nicht zum Verweilen drau\u00dfen ein, sodass ich mir neben den altbekannten Burberrys und Guccis dieser Welt beim Schaufensterbummel auch ein paar eher asiatisch wirkende Labels anschauen kann. Da mein Geldbeutel weder des einen noch des anderen Preise wirklich anziehend findet, einigen wir uns f\u00fcr heute darauf, dass es beim Bummeln bleibt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><b>Tax Free Shopping:&nbsp;<\/b>Shopping ist zwar als Ausl\u00e4nder angenehm, da der Spa\u00df ab 5.000 Yen (ca. 45 Euro) steuerfrei ist, wenn man als \u201etemporary visitor\u201c einreist &#8211; das ist als Tourist (oder Business-Reisender wie ich) also immer der Fall.<br>Es gibt allerdings einige Regeln, die zu beachten sind (genaueres kann man googlen) &#8211; so gibt es z.B. eine Erstattung oder einen g\u00e4nzlich steuerfreien Einkauf (man spart die 8 Prozent \u201eMehrwertsteuer\u201c) nur beim erf\u00fcllten Mindestbetrag am gleichen Tag, im gleichen Gesch\u00e4ft und ausschlie\u00dflich beim Vorzeigen des Reisepasses. Dabei unterscheiden sich die Gesch\u00e4fte zum einen darin, ob sie den Preis inkl. oder exkl. Tax auf dem Preisschild ausweisen, zum anderen in der Erstattungsform. Einige gro\u00dfe Kaufh\u00e4user \u00e0 la Karstadt haben einen \u201eTax Refund Counter\u201c, andere kleinere L\u00e4den oder Boutiquen berechnen erst gar keine Steuer auf den Einkauf. Letztere behalten aber gern mal ein bis zwei Prozent dessen als \u201ehandling fee\u201c ein\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Dennoch kann ich nicht behaupten, dass es dadurch besonders g\u00fcnstig wird. Beim Kauf von typisch regionalen Produkten wie einem guten Sake (Achtung, nur fermentierten mitnehmen, der unfermentierte h\u00e4lt sich nicht bis zu Hause) oder lokalen Modemarken ist es ein netter Bonus. Bei s\u00e4mtlichen Labels, die es auch in Europa gibt (und bei denen man davon ausgehen kann, dass die europ\u00e4ische Ware bestellbar oder auf Lager ist &#8211; Handtaschen sind mein Lieblingsbeispiel) sollte man eher davon absehen, zuzugreifen.
