EW7464 from HAM to LHR<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a successful meeting, which was the purpose of my side trip to London, I was able to continue the acquaintance with my colleagues from the UK. It always helps to strengthen the cooperation when you get the chance to meet someone in person, I think. The whole office meets for afterwork drinks each Friday from 05:00 pm, sponsored by our firm. We then went to London Cocktail Club<\/a> right around the corner (not too convinced of this place, service was somewhat slow) and after that we headed to one of my favorite pubs – thanks to Jette who showed this unhurried, rustic place! Waxy O’Connors<\/a> is located close to Picadilly Circus. Tonight they played live music, female singer and guitarist playing cover songs of old classics. They created a great vibe. Neither this atmosphere nor the food (try the ribs!) is something you come across in Germany, in my opinion. And, what is more, a glass of real good cider makes the experience even better!<\/p>\n

Nach einem erfolgreichen Meeting, f\u00fcr das ich hier war, habe ich ein wenig die Bekanntschaft mit meinen Account-Kollegen ausbauen k\u00f6nnen. Das gesamte Office trifft sich Freitags ab 17:00 Uhr zum Socializing mit ein paar Afterwork-Drinks. Nach dem Office ging es dann erst auf einen Cocktail in den London Cocktail Club<\/a> direkt um die Ecke (vielleicht ein Einzelfall, aber den schnellsten Service hatten sie nicht) und dann weiter zu meinem Lieblings-Pub (danke Jette, dass du mir diesen genialen, urgem\u00fctlichen Pub gezeigt hast!) unweit des Picadilly Circus: Waxy O\u2019Connors. Heute Abend mit Live-Musik, weibliche Stimme plus Gitarrist. Tolle Cover von alten Classics, so kommt Stimmung auf. Darum liebe ich die Urgem\u00fctlichkeit englischer Pubs, die man so einfach nicht in Deutschland hinbekommen w\u00fcrde. Auch das Essen ist richtig genial (Spare Ribs, oh mein Gott!). Und mit richtig gutem Cider in der Hand klingt es gleich noch mal sch\u00f6ner!<\/p>\n
